Masque Costume c. 1600 designed for Period Dance performance.
I have made several outfits for Baroque/Renaissance dance specialist Barbara Segal for use in education and performance.
Whilst retaining the period look these costumes are designed to withstand quick changes and the hard wear which stage costumes receive.
In contrast to my replica work where all details are copied as closely as possible from originals, my dance costumes include modern fastenings and sewing techniques to produce a sturdy and economical garment.
